We are locals and have been here three or four times over the years. The food is always amazing and the service is always great. Highly recommend their tomato soup. I swear I actually dream about it sometimes. They also had a chai spiced hard cider that was yummy!

Atmosphere’s nice, well-maintained. Be sure to grab a window seat if you can! We came for lunch one day, it wasn’t too busy, and we were seated quickly. Staff were very friendly! •Cod & Chips 3.5/5: sharable for a light lunch or smaller appetites. We didn’t find the fish, tartar sauce, or coleslaw particularly flavorful; however, the fries were excellent and the crust on the cod was light and crispy! •Side Salads 3.25/5: these were also just ok. Although our meals didn’t land great flavor-wise, the person I was with has been here many times and said they always thoroughly enjoy their meals, so it was likely just a one off!

We had the most incredible dining experience at La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib, and I cannot recommend this gem highly enough! We were fortunate to snag a table on their dog-friendly waterfront deck, which turned out to be the perfect setting for a memorable meal.  We ordered the halibut fish tacos and the macadamia nut crusted halibut, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared (and there was a good amount of fish on each of the 3 tacos). The macadamia nut crust added such a delightful texture and flavor that elevated the halibut. The service was what I expect when giving 5 stars, from start to finish. We brought our dog, and the staff brought Penny her own dish of fresh water without us even asking - such a thoughtful gesture that shows they truly understand what hospitality means. The staff's attention to detail and genuine care for all their guests (furry ones included!) was evident throughout our visit. Even though it was in the 80s, the deck was incredibly comfortable, thanks to their abundant umbrellas that kept us cool while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. Sitting on what they proudly call "the largest waterfront deck in Skagit County" with views of the Swinomish Channel and Mount Baker in the distance was great!  The historic charm of this 100+ year old building, which originally served as Mal's Tavern where fishermen, loggers, and farmers gathered, adds such character to the dining experience. What makes this place even more special is learning about its rich history. This family-owned and operated restaurant has been serving the Skagit Valley community for over 30 years, and you can feel the love and dedication in every aspect of the experience. Owners have created something truly special here, maintaining the tradition of exceptional service while honoring the building's fascinating past. Located in historic downtown La Conner on the waterfront, this restaurant is perfectly positioned for anyone visiting the area.  The quaint waterfront town setting makes it a top Washington State destination, and this restaurant is definitely a highlight. La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib delivers on every level - outstanding food, exceptional service, beautiful setting, and genuine hospitality. Whether you're a local or visiting from out of town, whether you have a four-legged companion or not, this restaurant will likely exceed your expectations, too. The combination of fresh, locally-sourced cuisine, stunning waterfront views, and warm, attentive service makes this a must-visit destination. La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House is where land and sea shake hands and then serve you a meal you won’t forget with dockside dining experience. Nestled by the water, this gem delivers surf and turf with a level of finesse that makes every bite feel like a privilege. The prime rib? A masterpiece of slow-roasted succulence. Place is dated. Service is quick. Phenomenal waterfront, al fresco dining.

Had a great experience here. While we didn't go to far on drinks(just soda), the food was outstanding. The fried fish(Halibut) was cooked perfectly, the seafood tacos were seasoned and garnished exactly as one would hope. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Oh, and the Clam Chowder, d*mn, perfection.

Stopped in for Dinner after a stressful day of moving our Fifth Wheel to La Conner. I had the Cioppino had the wife had the Prime Rib. The soup was spicy and delicious. The prime rib had a lot to be desired too thin of a cut so the med rare came out to be medium well.. Good atmosphere and the wait staff were very helpful.

A beautiful restaurant on the water with a gorgeous patio. We visited for our anniversary and enjoyed our dinner immensely. We each had a drink- an Old Fashioned for my husband and a Pomegranate Martini for me. The tomato bisque was the highlight of the meal for me, though my husband loved his clam chowder better. We each had the La Conner Seafood Fettucine, which was served with a nice serving of dungeness crab and bay shrimp. They even treated us to dessert of a chocolate peanut butter cream pie, but we were so full we had to take it to-go. Highly recommend this gem in La Conner!
